Wallpaper installation for interior designers

You design it — we install it.

You have specified the paper and sold the scheme. What you need is someone who will hit the date and not damage the material.

The schedule is the product

A wallcovering install sits between the painters and the furniture, and it is the trade most likely to push a reveal date. We are a wallpaper-only business, so your job is not competing for attention with a repaint across town. The work is done in-house and never subcontracted, which means the person you agreed the date with is the person on site.

We reply to every enquiry within 30 minutes during business hours, Mon–Sat 9am–6pm. Out-of-hours work is arranged per project where a site needs it.

Difficult materials are the normal case

Grasscloth, murals and photo wallpaper, hand-printed and commercial-grade coverings, fabric, non-woven, prepasted, vinyl and peel-and-stick. Commercial materials sit above the base rate because they need double-cut seams and a different technique, and we price them that way rather than discovering it on site.

Panel-numbered murals, drop-matched repeats and railroaded runs each have their own failure mode, and the point at which they fail is after the material has been cut. We will work out the drop count and the roll count against the actual elevation before anything is ordered — send the dimensions and the product link and we will confirm the quantity.

What we will tell you before your client hears it

If a specified material is wrong for the room we will say so at the quote. Grasscloth in a bathroom and peel-and-stick on a sun-facing wall are the two that come up most, and neither is a judgement on the scheme — it is a warranty conversation better had with you than with your client six months later.

We prime where the surface needs it and do not skim coat or level walls, so if a substrate needs remedial work we will flag it while there is still time to get a plasterer in. We carry $1,000,000 general liability insurance, and installing since 2016 means most of what a project can throw at us has been thrown before.

What does wallpaper installation cost?

Most wallpaper installation runs $2.50–3.00 per square foot. Ceilings are $4.00–5.00. Removal starts at $3.00. Minimum job is $200.

Nobody else in Charlotte publishes their rates. We do, because you deserve to know before you call. The final number is set after measuring.
