You can see the price before you call
Installation runs $2.50–3.00 per square foot. Ceilings are $4.00–5.00 with a surcharge for height, removal starts at $3.00, and the minimum job is $200. An accent wall takes from three hours; a room is usually a day.
Nobody else in Charlotte publishes their rates, and we think that is the wrong way round. You should be able to work out roughly what your room will cost at eleven at night without filling in a form or waiting for a callback. The final figure is set after measuring, and large jobs are discounted and quoted individually.
The expensive roll is the part we take seriously
You buy the paper, which means the material risk is yours and the responsibility for not wasting it is ours. Before you order, send us the dimensions and a link to what you have chosen and we will tell you how many rolls to buy. That number turns on the pattern repeat, the wall height and whether the drops have to be matched, and a rule of thumb is usually wrong in the direction that costs money.
Wallpaper only is the whole business, and has been since 2016. Not painting with wallpaper on the side — the seams, the pattern match and the corners are what we do every working day. The work is done in-house and never subcontracted out.
What we do to the wall, and what we do not
We prime where the surface needs it. We do not skim coat or level walls, and if yours needs plaster repair first we will tell you at the quote rather than partway through the job. Being straight about that up front is cheaper for both of us than discovering it with the furniture already moved.
Some materials belong in some rooms and not others. Grasscloth is not suitable for bathrooms and peel-and-stick will not hold on a sun-facing wall — we will say so before you buy, not after. The workmanship carries a one-year warranty with common-sense limits on where certain materials belong.
